Obituary
Charles R. Snook, age 67, of Big Spruce Road, Otway, Ohio, died 1:24 A.M. Friday, December 4, 2009 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born March 9, 1942 in Wheelersburg, Ohio, a son of the late Herman B. Snook and Juanita Hill Snook Richards. On July 19, 1985, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Stump Snook who survives. Also surviving are three step sons, Willie Boyd of Otway, Shawn Boyd of South Shore, Ky., and Kevin Boyd of Otway, and one brother, Darrell Snook of Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Nicki Ray Snook. Charles was retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Gary Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Moon Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
