Obituary
Charles C. Box, 71of Henley-Comstock Rd. McDermott, died Wednesday December 23, 2009 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born on March 30, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Louis and Myrtle Wolford Box. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patricia Hacker Box whom he married on May 28, 1960. Also surviving are two daughters: Diane (Robert) Spradlin of West Portsmouth, Kathy Jo Box and Special friend Douglas Arthur of Lucasville, and one grandson, Chad Spradlin of West Portsmouth. He was a retired Equipment Operator from the Scioto County Engineers Dept. Charles was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting. He was the owner and operator of Charlie's Tackle Box. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Botkin Funeral Home in Otway with Norman (Ed) and Vicki Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00-8:00 P.M. and Monday from 12:00 noon-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. botkinfuneralservice.com
