William Judson Anderson, 81 of St. Rt. 335 Waverly, Ohio died Wednesday January 6, 2010 at Traditions at Bristol Village in Waverly. He was born on August 21, 1928 in Jackson Township, Ohio to the late Judson and Gladys Glassburn Anderson. He was united in marriage on August 5, 1952 to Virginia Mae Streitenberger Anderson who survivies. Also survving are a son, Dennis Keith Anderson of Waverly, 4 daughters: Deborah (Larry) Vanhoose of Grove City, Ohio, Dixie (Walter) Snyder of Marion, Ohio, Sandra (Rick) Alderman of Waverly, Ohio and Nancy Anderson and companion, Larry of Chillicothe. 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Avanelle (Joe) Pennington of Waverly, and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: William Andre Anderson, David Keith Anderson, and 2 brothers. Mr. Anderson was a retired farmer, a Jackson Township Trustee for many years, a member of the VFW Post Beaver Ohio, American Legion- Merritt Post #142 of Waverly, Past Master of Orient Lodge #321 F.& A.M. in Waverly, York Rite, and was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the Omega Cemetery with Rev. Walter Snyder officiating. Military Graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion-Merritt Post #142.
