Goldie Faye Wooten, age 78 of McDermott, Ohio, died January 21, 2010 at O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 14, 1931 in Peebles, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Emma Mae Spencer Crabtree . She was married for 55 yrs to Melvin Wooten who survives, they were married January 15, 1955. Goldie is also survived by two sons, David Melvin and wife Becky Wooten of Lucasville, Ohio and Rick and wife Tina Wooten of McDermott, Ohio, six grandchildren, Emily and husband Justin Lute of Lucasville, Ohio, Andrew Wooten of Wheelersburg, Ohio, Kylin Wooten of McDermott, Ohio, Amber and husband Dan Bloomfield of South Webster, Ohio, Cammie and husband Nathan Richmond of Adams County, Ohio, Levi and wife Lauren Stout of West Portsmouth, Ohio, six great grandchildren, Kaylee Lute, Austin and Ethan Bloomfield, Mason and Carlie Cooper and Olivia Stout, and many Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Wooten retired from the former Williams Manufacturing and West End Shoe Mart and was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Milford Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call from 3 to 6 P.M. Sunday, and from 12 noon until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
