Walter Lee Vest, 38 of Straight Fork Rd. Rarden, Ohio died Tuesday January 19, 2010 in Adams County, Ohio as the result of injuries sustained in a truck accident. He was born on April 30, 1971 in Hamilton, Ohio and is the son of Dallon and Bertha Lee Carter Vest of Peebles, Ohio. He was united in marriage on December 4, 1992 to Amanda Lynn Fitzpatrick Vest who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons: Donnie and Brandyn Vest both at home, 4 brothers: Larry Vest of Peebles, Dallon Vest, Jr. and wife Betty of Cincinnati, OH, Fred Vest and wife, Lori Rivers of Rarden, and Wayne Vest and wife Lisa of Otway, 2 sisters: Debbie Lowe and husband, Keith, and Julie Vest both of Peebles, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Vest. He was a truck driver employed with Arrick's Propane in Peebles. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Botkin Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Delbert Copas officiating. Burial will follow in the Mustard Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 12:00 noon - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
