Obituary
Robert Lee Hess, Jr., age 30, of Rarden-Hazelbaker Road, Otway, Ohio, died Thursday at the Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Center in Portsmouth. He was born July 31, 1979 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Robert Lee Hess Sr. and Phyllis Arthur Hess of Otway. He is survived by his faithful companion, Tera Craft of Portsmouth, Ohio, one son, Devon Craft of Portsmouth, Ohio, one sister, Rebecca Hess of Otway, Ohio, one brother, William Carter of Otway, Ohio, grandmother, Margaret Gregory of Lucasville, Ohio, and niece and nephew, Andrew and Angel Hess. He was preceded in death by one sister, Julie Hess. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Old Hoffer Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway, and from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the church.
