Obituary
Virginia L. Baker, age 71, of Mohawk Dr., Lucasville, Ohio died 8:19 P.M. Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. She was born April 17, 1938, a daughter of the late Orvel Flack and Myrtle Fletcher McKinley. On September 9, 1953 she was united in marriage to Curtis Lee Baker who preceded her in death June 19, 2007. Surviving are three sons, Kenneth (Pauline) Baker of Lucasville, Ohio, Harold Baker of Lucasville, Ohio, and Tom (Carol) Baker of Beckley, W.Va., two daughters, Sandy (Roger) Taylor of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Karen (Larry) Gee of Cincinnati, Ohio, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one brother, Orvel J. Flack of Bethlehem, Georgia, and one sister Stella Cable of McDermott, Ohio. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Taylor Sexton. Virginia was a homemaker and member of the Lombardsville Community Church. Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at the Lombardsville Community Church with Pastor George Vastine officiating. Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway and from 11:00 A.M. to noon Wednesday at the church.
